bitBiome will exhibit at World Microbe Forum from June 20th to 24th

World Microbe Forum (WMF), a collaboration between the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS), and several other societies, will be held from June 20th to June 24th, 2021 with “Microbial Science Knows No Borders” , and bitBiome will join the WMF as a corporate exhibitor.

New infectious and drug-resistant strains, the role of microorganisms in climate change, and synthetic biology as a solution to the humankind challenges have brought microorganisms into the spotlight like never before.

WMF brings together microbiologists from around the world for an interactive discussion on how science can help solve these challenges facing humanity.

bitBiome aims to provide the world’s scientists with bit-MAP, a microbial single-cell genome analysis technology that enables highly efficient acquisition of whole genome sequences from microorganisms that were previously extremely difficult to cultivate and analyze, thereby generating new knowledge and solutions.

Please come to the bitBiome Virtual Booth when you attend WMF.

Overview of bitBiome’s Virtual Booth
1.Industry & Science Symposium

Title: “Open the door into the microbial world by single-cell analysis”
Schedule:  June 20th to July 30th
Session: On-demand
Speaker:  Prof. Haruko Takeyama
Biomolecular Engineering Laboratory, Department of Life Science and Medical Bioscience,
Waseda University
Abstract:  Prof. Haruko Takeyama will explain how bitBiome’s technology works and what it enables researchers based on her lab’s research cases varying from gut microbiome, environmental microbes from soil and water/marine, and virus-host interactions. Also, she will talk about application examples such as the Raman spectrometry screening technology development in conjunction with the single-cell genomics for further microbial utilization in the industry.
